    DESCRIPTION
Do you know the meaning of tourism jargon? Every industry has its language; can you talk tourism?

Each profession has its language, just like tourism. If you want to work in this business, you must also learn the terms that will allow you to negotiate with your clients in English or in French!

So, the next time you receive a "Lead," you will know what to do with it, and you can give them your "Rack Rates" or "FIT Rates" to "Travel Wholesaler" or "Tour Operators".

Also, learn the significant abbreviations in tourism.  We abbreviate words or phrases to save time, effort, or space. This is great, but if you do not know what the acronym or abbreviation stands for, it may feel like people speak a different language.  Like many others in the tourism industry, we use a wide array of abbreviations and/or acronyms.

Your trade show is over, now is the time to summarize the entire event: database, follow-ups, comments on each of the buyers met and finally, comments over the whole event. Why?

The primary foundation of a company is its database of contacts. Without a buyer, the company closes its doors. It is therefore essential for you to write a good sales report so that your manager, like the one who will replace you one day, can continue to serve the company contacts, as well as possible.

    DESCRIPTION
Southern Québec extends from the south shore of the St. Lawrence River to the American border, between Montréal and Québec City. Made up of the regions of the Eastern Townships, Centre-du-Québec and Montérégie, Southern Québec is truly a must-visit Québec destination. This vast territory is renowned for its pastoral landscapes and gourmet terroir products. Whether goose or duck, maple or cranberry products, wines or ice ciders, the guests are sure to be enthralled by the regional flavours found exclusively on the Southern Québec terroir. Visit sites that have borne witness to the presence of Aboriginal peoples and the first American, Irish, British and French immigrants. Southern Quebec is also the best nature escape thanks to the great, national or regional, parks and also a destination of shorts trips along charming roads where the guests are welcome by hosts and both are creating memorable souvenirs.
