L’Association des autocaristes canadiens (MCC) nous informe du fait que le Department of Homeland Security a fait des annonces intéressantes pour ce qui est des mesures liées à la COVID-19 aux frontières terrestres.

De ce fait, il ne sera plus requis, pour les voyageurs (non-U.S.) d’être complètement vaccinés contre la COVID-19 ni de présenter de preuve en ce sens. Le tout, à partir du 12 mai prochain.

À titre informatif, voici les commentaires de MCC, dont la FTA fait partie :

«The restrictions are being rescinded in alignment with the end of the Public Health Emergency and the termination of the Presidential Proclamation on air travel which applied vaccination requirements to international air travellers.

MCC has been consistently advocating for this restriction to be lifted on our regular calls with Transport Canada and we are glad to see that our efforts are paying off. This is a win for our members as this restriction has been hindering the volume of North American cross-border travel for over three years. »
